1st LTT- Isparta Turkey, 22-26 May 2023
Activities:
1 day: On the 1st day students have studied about environmental problems and their effects on our life. They discussed about them and what the 5R stands for. Then, they had activities about Refuse (Refuse at school, at home, in daily life).
2nd day: We visited the Kovada Lake and Yazılı Kanyon where there was a forest fire in 2022 . Doc. Ahmet KOCA from Isparta Applied Sciences University, Forestry Faculty gave seminar about forest fire and their effects on habitat, local people, our life and environmental issues. Then, we checked its effects on the habitat. Next, we discussed about ways to protect and respect nature, how to prevent forest fires.
3rd day: We visited the Denizli Pamukkale University where Prof.Dr. Meltem BALABAN gave seminar about Nanotechnology and how we use nanotechnology / nano applications to solve the environmental problems. Then, we visited the Hierapolis (UNESCO world heritage list). We visited one of the local schools, Mustafa Kaynak Anadolu Lisesi, and disseminated our Erasmus+ project. They joined our seminar in Pamukkale University and Hierapolis, Pamukkale Traverten.
4th day: Students have studied what ZERO WASTE and how to adopt zero waste activities in our life at school / at home / and daily life. Also the Romanian team gave a seminar to host school teachers about what Ambassador Schools are and their activities /programme. In the afternoon we visited SİBER ISPARTA Youth Centre and our students had a workshop about renewable energy sources and designed their own robots. We had farewell dinner and presented our traditional music and dances.
5th day: Students presented their works and studies and we had the certificate ceremony
